Leighton is a guerilla filmmaker. At the age of 22, he has already directed and photographed many short films, music videos and commercials. He's a provocative cinematographer, working through both still and moving images within the film and digital mediums.
From the youthful age of 13, Leighton had a camera in his hands. He found the beauty of life through the still image. Leighton began taking 35mm still photos of friends and landmarks around his community. He spent many hours in the darkroom processing his own prints, learning to understand the fundementals of his craft. He soon realized that his future would be depicted within the frames of his camera lens. With relentless conviction and an unbridled passion for filmmaking, Leighton has found himself on the path to defining that dream. After graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Arts, he has begun working as a director of photography with Brotherhood Productions.
